Using qm to control a deskband in vista explorer.
I want to have better usability for the vista explorer.
My idea is to add toolbars over existing controls.
How to detect this:
Example on how to use a middle click trigger filter.
Send Firefox to tray with left click on minimize button.
Left click on the tray icon will restore Firefox and right click
will close Firefox and the function.
Double left click on a free area in SysListView32 to navigate up
in the directory tree.
use filters for min/max/close buttons.
overwrite what other applications offer as options.
let them pass through when they fit your needs.
I find it useful, that when working on a menu the properties dialog directly jumps
to the menu settings.
Works also for toolbars.
You can easily map a local folder to a virtual drive letter,
thus by switching drives you are simply redirected to that folder.
For example lets say we want to map the My Documents folder to drive letter M:
Start the record dialog right before the locked qm editor dialog.
Keyboard filter function for the delete key.
This is just an example.
Cursor2Screen
I have dual monitors and am always getting caught when moving between them with typing because I did not click in the new window on the other monitor first. Now I know I can just click and have windows make that app active, but why not just have QM make the top window active when the mouse shows up in that monitor.
keyboard trigger:win+f will start as a qm hook. has option and settings dialog. does filter. my setup: if no window active start filelocator, or even better: show nice menu + 'open with' option
